This case-based webinar explores an advanced spinal cord anomaly —tethered cord syndrome — and its management using electro-acupuncture.
We’ll review hallmark signs and symptoms, clinical assessment strategies, and imaging (including MRI examples) to better understand how these patients present. The session will cover treatment goals, neurological mechanisms behind electro-acupuncture, contraindications, and why specialized training is essential when working with highly neural-sensitive patients experiencing neuropathic pain. We will also compare conventional approaches and highlight where electro-acupuncture offers a distinct clinical advantage.
